THE WEEKLY RESET: Part workshop / part lab, The Weekly Reset is a guided 60-minute virtual session that includes Laine's favorite and most effective tools for weekly reflection, integration, and prioritization
Who: Artists and non-artists alike who want to develop a weekly, creative planning ritual that gently and organically helps participants set priorities, make progress, and minimize procrastination
What: A structured 60-minute virtual workshop that employs Laine's favorite and most effective tools
When: Fridays 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. eastern time
The Weekly Reset meets (virtually) every Friday at 4:00 p.m. eastern time. We start the meeting with brief introductions and then jump right into the tools and techniques for the week. Participants will be asked to answer (for themselves) various questions that bring to light where they are on track (yay!), where things are not working (boo!), and where they want to place their focus for the week ahead. We wrap up with a group debrief, taking turns celebrating our most recent efforts and adding accountability for what's next.
As with the Creative Habits Lab, I hold the consistency and structure so you can more easily build your new routine. I will choose the techniques/questions for the week so that you can experience various approaches to the weekly reset habit. I will make sure we start and end on time and that everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves, check-in, complete their weekly routines, and debrief/celebrate.
Drop in one week at a time for $30 per session or buy a 4-pack for $100
ALL Weekly Reset sessions are VIRTUAL
F.A.Q.s
Why did you create the Weekly Reset and who is it for?
I created this workshop to share my favorite tools for closing the gap between where I am and where (and who) I want to be. I have read extensively and practiced firsthand A LOT of personal, behavioral change theories and methods. Over time, I have greatly narrowed my approach to just a few simple practices. The Weekly Reset includes the ones that remain, each intrinsically fun and satisfying while having the most impact. This workshop is the place where I can teach and share the tools I've learned, hold a forum to discuss each other's results from the practices, and provide a container for myself and others to minimize the tendency to look outside for answers.
Do I have to be an artist to join?
No! Anyone can join this workshop, no matter your connection to art. I welcome anyone who wants to implement a consistent weekly practice for reflection, integration, and growth.
When and where is the workshop held?
This is a virtual workshop, held from 4:00 - 5:00, eastern time on Fridays.
Is there a minimum monthly commitment?
Will I need to have my camera on and speak up in the group?
As with the Creative Habits Lab, I like to hold a consistent structure. I find it's helpful to give everyone a chance to share during both the check-ins and debrief/celebration. We generally have cameras on for these. In additional, most people leave their cameras on the entire time. All that said, nothing is required! This is just what I find most helpful. I am an introvert, so I understand if you might be a little resistant at first. I promise the structure is super gentle and I strive to create a "no pressure" zone.
How much does it cost and what payment methods do you accept?
It is $30 for one session or $100 for a four-pack. I accept PayPal (and credit cards through PayPal) and Venmo.
How do I sign up?
